How to get Distinction in JNTU with less Preparation?

Criteria for Getting Distinction in JNTU:
In order to get distinction in JNTU one need to get an aggregate of 70% even 69.999% is not allowed it comes under First class only. The total marks of the entire curriculum is for 5425 and for calculating the aggregate two optional subjects are left out and it is done only for a total 5225 marks i.e. one need to secure 216 credits out of the given 224 credits in order to eligible for B. Tech degree.

Tips to Get Distinction in JNTU:

With all my four years of experience with JNTU, I am going to tell some tips which are definitely helpful in order to secure a good percentage.

First of all in order to get a good percentage in JNTU and to pass without any backlogs requires a lot of luck factor. Apart from the luck factor the other things are hard work and intelligence and most importantly smart work is required. One may not be familiar with what this smart work is; I will explain you in detail. We should be in a position to decide the depth of the paper and the degree of toughness.

Set System in JNTU:

As we all know that there will be four sets for every exam and of which one or two sets are going to be dam tough, we can't even answer a single question. People who get that set might think they are unlucky but they after seeing the results the scenario completely changes these people with tough sets will be clearing the paper with ease and the others find it a lot difficult even though they get an easy paper. So if we get a tough paper it is easy to clear and no need to worry even though we can't answer a single question. What we all need to do is something which is relevant to the topic and to that particular chapter and your sure to pass the exam. On the other hand if we get an easy paper we need to write the entire answer in detail even the slightest mistake may pay a lot of penalty.

How to get good marks in external exams of JNTU?

There is an easy process for this, as we are supposed to write 5 questions out of given 8. So sort the best three questions that you can write. First write two questions which you're familiar with then go for the questions which you're not so sure of and finally you're last question should be a perfect answer and you will definitely get good marks and the marks that are worth of more than three questions.

In first year the total marks are for 1075 and of which 375 are lab marks and 700 are theory marks then coming to the semesters, the overall semester marks will be for 750 of which 150 are your lab marks and 600 are theory marks. So one need to mainly concentrate on practical's as these 150 marks counts a lot try to get 145+ so that even though you get little bit less in your theory exams these marks will compensate it. Coming to the scoring process for any student it's easy to get marks in 1st year, 2nd year 1st semester and final year 2nd semester, so try to get the best possible marks over here and your sure to have 70% under your belt.
